KOIL ALWAR TIRUMANJANAM OBSERVED AT SKVST

Srinivasa Mangapuram, 7 July 2016: In connection with Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams which are scheduled from July 8-10 in the famous shrine of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy at Srinivasa Mangapuram, the temple cleaning festival of koil alwar tirumanjanam was observed on Thursday.

The entire temple including roof, walls, subshrines, puja utensils etc were cleansed with an aromatic mixture of sandal and Kichiligadda paste. Temple Dy EO Sri Venkataiah, AEO Sri Dhananjeyulu also took part in this tradition cleansing fete.

Meanwhile Paruveta Utsavam-the hunt festival will take place on July 11 at Srivari Mettu after the completion of the three-day annual Sakshatkara Vaibhavams.
