TTD EO RELEASES “RAMANUJA SAHASRABDI” SPECIAL ISSUE

TIRUPATI, MAY 2: The arrangements for the upcoming mega religious event, Krishna Pushkarams should enhance the royalty of TTD, asserted TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao.

WORK WITH MORE VIGOUR:

During the review meeting with senior officers of TTD in Tirupati in his chambers in TTD on Monday, the TTD EO said, there should not be any compromise in the arrangements for the religious river event. “Our arrangements for Godavari Maha Pushkaram year last was a grand success. With the same spirit we should do with more vigour for the upcoming Krishna Pushkarams which are scheduled from August 12-24,” he added.

SRIVARI REPLICA TEMPLES WORK PLAN

Later, the TTD EO instructed the engineering wing to come out with an action plan to construct replica temples of Lord Venkateswara at Amaravathi, Krishna Pushkarams and at Hyderabad. To the sculptures which have already been sent to the temples in SC ST colonies and other areas on their request, he instructed the CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy to constitute a committee with engineers, temple officers, archakas and sthapathis to verify the installation and construction process.

SPECIAL ARTICLES FOR RAMANUJA SAHASRABDI

Meanwhile TTD EO released the special edition of Sapthagiri magazine for the month of May which exclusively portrayed the 1000th Avirbhavotsavam of the great Sri Vaishnava Saint Sri Ramanujacharya. The articles on the life, works, and contribution made of the divine saint written by eminent scholars including Dr Samudrala Lakshmanaiah, Dr A Singacharyulu, Dr K Rajagopalan, Sri KJ Krishnamurthy, Sri Sarvottama Rao and others were comprised in the magazine.
Apart from this the EO instructed the concerned to come out with new books and CDs for May 10, on which the Ramanuja Sahasrabdi is being observed in a big way by TTD.

SUBHAPRADHAM TRAINERS TRAINING PROGRAMME IN MAY FIRST WEEK

As the summer coaching camp Subhapradham is scheduled for May 22, the EO has instructed the HDPP wing of TTD to train up the trainers in the first week of May. He also instructed them to send the books to the respective centres and inform the parents of the students through wide publicity in media.

RO WATER PLANT IN CHENNAI INFO CENTRE

The EO also reviewed the ongoing works at Chennai Information Centre and instructed the engineering wing to place a RO water plant for the sake of the multitude of devotees visiting the temple apart from the completion of pending works on time.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, DLO Sri Venkatramana, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy and other officers were also present.
