TIRUMALA, NOVEMBER 18:  The TTD EO Sri IYR Krishna Rao said, that TTD will continue the mandatory Laghu darshan on Tuesdays and Wednesdays irrespective of pilgrim crowd and appealed to cooperate with the temple management in the case of delay in their darshan.

Addressing media persons on Thursday in front of Tirumala temple, TTD EO said, the temple administration with a noble intention to provide much better darshan to the pilgrims has introduced ‘Laghu Darshan’ on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the sake of pilgrims. “We are running the Laghu Darshan from Wednesday morning till late night of Thursday. On Wednesday (17-11-2010) about 42,600 pilgrims had laghu darshan and the pilgrims could see the lord from a much nearer point. As a result there will be some delay and I appeal to the pilgrims especially Rs.300 Pratyeka Pravesha Darshan goers to co-operate with the management and kindly bear with the dealy. They should not think that they could able complete their darshan within 2 or 3 hours during these two days since we will be running laghu darshan irrespective of the pilgrim numbers. They should plan their trip accordingly to avoid any sort of inconvenience”, the EO maintained.
