“LIVE GREAT LIFE RATHER LONG LIKE AMBEDKAR”-TTD EO

Tirupati, 14 Apr. 17: “Living a life following the principles of equality, liberty and fraternity taught by Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar rather living for long is the greatest tribute we offer to him”, asserted TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The EO took part as the chief guest in the 126 the Birth Anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar in the TTD administrative building quadrangle in Tirupati on Friday. Speaking on this occasion the EO, the racial and caste discrimination have come down now a days to a great extent. “We have to progress by grabbing the opportunities by proving our mettle. And this is the essence Dr Ambedkar’s life ambition”, he added.

Earlier in his speech, Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar said, knowledge, courage and character are the three essential qualities to become a perfect human being and Baba Saheb stood as a personification of all these characters.

Chief speakers Dr R Ranjani, Assistant Professor of Virology department in SV University said, Dr Ambedkar enlightened the lives of deprived sections through his voice. “Today we are enjoying the efforts of Baba Saheb. We will stand up to his dream only when we educate the down trodden and needy who are still in the clutches of poverty”, she added.

Octogenarian and former TTD top brass engineer, Sri Raghupathi Rao presented the life aspects of Dr Ambedkar with his enlightening speech accompanied by a melodious presentation of song rendered by his better half Smt Annapurna, retired professor of Music Department in Mahila varsity who is an septuagenarian.

The employees have also spoke on the occasion. The meeting was also attended by DyEOs Sri Chalapathi Babu, Sri Venkataiah, Sri Devendra Babu, Sri Vijayasaradhi, EE Sri Manoharam, PRO Dr T Ravi, former Special Grade DyEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy and others.
