LORD CAPTIVATES PILGRIMS AS ” CELESTIAL BEAUTY MOHINI”

Rajamundry, 18 July 2015: The processional deity of Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy charmed the pilgrims in his most magnificent “Mohini Avatara” on Saturday evening.

On the fifth day evening, as a part of the ongoing Maha Pushkarams, the temple priests decorated the Lord in the form of Celestial Beauty.

The deity was taken to Saraswathi Pushkar Ghat amidst religious pomp and gaiety along the streets. The crowd was awe struck by the enchanting beauty and glory of Lord. The steers echoed with Govinda Nama all the way from Municipal Grounds to Pushkar Ghat and vice versa.

Later the swing ritual, Unjal Seva was performed in the Srivari replica temple premises. The Municipal Grounds was jam packed by pilgrims on Saturday evening.

DyEO Sri Kodanda Rama Rao, OSD Sri P Seshadri and others also took part in the fete.
