LORD GOVINDA RAJA SWAMY RIDES ON HANUMANTHA VAHANAM

Tirupati, 5 June 2017: On the morning of the sixth day, Lord Sri Govinda Raja Swamy was taken on a celestial procession around the mada streets on Hanumantha Vahanam on Monday.

SIGNIFICANCE

As in Ramayana, Lord Rama is assisted in his epic journey by Hanuman. Lord Rama is seen as the avatar of Lord Vishnu.
Hanuman is considered one of the ardent devotees of Lord Vishnu and is an exponent of all four vedas and Nava vyakarana. He is an embodiment of Wisdom, Muscle power, success, Braveness, health, over active, fearless and common sense.

It is said that Lord Sri Rama had taught the secrets of Atma Tatva to
his most loyal disciple, Hanuman. Thus the darshan of Lord Govindaraja along with Hanuman is considered not only auspicious but also as high intellectual association.

Hanuman was the personification of the most trusted and self less service to the Lord. By taking ride on his loyal vehicle, Lord shows that his blessings are always with his loyal devotees.

H.H.Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala Mutt, H.H.Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Local Temples DyE.O Smt Varalakshmi, Exe Engineer Sri Jagadesswara Reddy and large number of devotees took part in this function.
