LORD KAPILESWARA WITNESSES HUGE TURNOUT OF PILGRIMS

Tiruapati, 21 November 2016: The famous sub-shrine of Lord Sri Kapilesawara Swamy has been witnessing huge turn out of pilgrim devotees in the auspicious Karthika month.

It is believed that performing homas and lighting ghee lamps during this holy season will free the devotees from all the sins they have committed either knowingly or unknowingly.

Anticipating the pilgrim rush, TTD has made elaborate arrangements. The month-long celestial fete of “Karthika Mahotsavams” organised by TTD performing holy homam in the temple premises, stood as an added attraction.

The devotees are getting the opportunity to perform and take part in the holy yagas including Ganapathi Homam, Sri Subramanya Swamy Homam, Sri Dakshinamurthy Homam, Chandi Homam, Rudra Homam, Navagraha Homam etc. with a payment of Rs.500 on which two persons are being allowed.

As a part of the ongoing homa mahotsavams, Sri Kalabhairava Swamy Homam will take place on November 28 and the celestial fete will conclude with Sri Chandikeswara Swamy Homam on November 29.
