LORD KODANDARAMA RIDES ‘HANUMANTHA VAHANAM’
Tirupati, 30 March 2017: Religious fervour marked the sixth day of annual Brahmotsavams here on Thursday as Lord Kodandarama Swamy rode his favourite celestial carrier ‘Hanumanta Vahanam’ encircling the four mada streets of the temple.
It was a delight to the devotees as they had a chance to witness Lord Rama in all glory, seated on a gold-glided carrier of a ferocious-looking Hanuman, with a dazzling halo behind, in the outer precincts of the temple. Forming a part of the temple paraphernalia caparisoned elephants, decorated bulls and majestic horses added grandeur to the event.
Temple DyEO Smt Munilakshmi, EE Sri Jagadeswara Reddy, Superintendent Sri Uma Maheswara Reddy, Temple Inspectors Sri Sesha Reddy, Temple Archaka Nandu Swamy and a large number of devotees took part.
