LORD KRISHNA AND GODDESS RUKMINI RIDE ON FLOAT

Tirumala, 9 March 2017: On the second day of the ongoing five day float festival in Tirumala, the processional deities of Lord Sri Krishna flanked by His beloved consort Goddess Rukmini took celestial ride on the finely decked float in Swamy Pushkarini on Thursday evening.

The deities were taken for three rounds in the sacred temple waters which was witnessed by hundreds of devotees.

TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, TTD Trust Board Members Sri DP Anantha, Dr P Hariprasad, Sri G Bhanuprakash Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri Rama Rao, Peishkar Sri Ramesh and others took part.
