LORD RAMA RIDES ON ‘SURYAPRABHA VAHANAM’

Tirupati, 31 March 2017: The seventh day of annual Brahmotsavams turned colourful as the devotees had an opportunity to witness Lord Sri Kodandarama Swamy ride the celestial Suryaprabha Vahanam here on Friday.

The vehicle decked with garlands in the hues of orange, enhanced the charm of the Lord, much to the delight of the devotees. The procession which took place between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., reverberated with Vedic chants and Rama Nama, as devotees thronged in huge numbers to witness the fete.
Deputy EO Smt Munilakshmi, ACVSO Sivakumar Reddy, EE Jagadeswara Reddy, Superintendent Sri Uma Maheswara Reddy, Temple Inspectors Sesha Reddy Temple Archaka Nandu Swamy and a large number of devotees took part.
