LORD RIDES ON MIGHTY SWARNA RATHAM ON IIND DAY OF VASANTHOTSAVAM

TIRUMALA, APRIL 3: On the second day of annual Vasanthotsavam Lord Malayappa Swamy flanked by His two consorts took a celestial ride Swarna Ratham in the bright sunny day on Friday in Tirumala.

Honourable AP CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu also took part in this religious fete after having darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

Meanwhile, Lord traversed through the four mada streets seated majestically on the golden “Devasana Peetham” on the 30-feet mighty golden chariot.

Devotees flooded to the hill town to catch the glimpse of Lord gigantic chariot and especially women devotees enthusiastically took part in the pulling of the chariot chanting “Govinda Nama”.

TTD EO Dr D Sabasiva Rao, Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, CVSO Sri Nagendra Kumar and other officials were also present.
