LORD SRI RAMA RIDE ON MIGHTY GARUDA

Tirupati, 22 March 2015: All the ways in temple city of Tirupati led to Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple on sunday evening owing to the important fete of Garuda Seva as a part of the ongoing brahmotsavams in the temple.

Lord Sri Rama who is an example of a “Supreme Human being” took celestial ride on the “King of Aves”-Garuda between 8pm to 11pm.

Earlier, befitting the occasion, Lord Sri Rama was beautifully decorated in new silk vastrams, Nagabharanam that was brought from Tirumala temple specially for the occasion and Sri Rama Padukalu to His holy feet.

TTD has made elaborate arrangements including tight security to see that no untoward incident takes place during the mega fete by deploying police, vigilance, security and srivari seva volunteers in crowd management.

The performance of bhajan troupes and other artistes before procession added extra glamour to the event.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, DyEO Sri Bhupathi Reddy, VGO Sri Raveendra Reddy, Supdt Sri Krishna Varma, Temple Inspectors Sri Sesha Reddy, Sri Murali, Temple Archaka Sri Nandu Swamy, Archakas Sri Kiran Swamy, Tarun Swamy and large number of devotees took part.
