LORD TAKES PLEASURE RIDE ON FINELY DECORATED PUSHPA PALLAKI

TIRUMALA, JULY 17 2015: In connection with Salakatla Anivara Asthanam festival, the processional deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy flanked by His two Consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi took pleasure ride on colourfully decorated floral palanquin in Tirumala on Friday evening.

Lord is taken round along the four Mada streets in procession on a richly decorated floral palanquin. It is a remarkable spectacle for devotees who patircipate in this arjita seva to witness and enjoy the majestic presence of the Lord.

TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao, Addl CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, DyEO Sri Chinnamgari Ramana, Garden Suptd Sri Srinivas, SE Sri Ramachandra Reddy other officials were also present during this holy programme.
