LORD’S CELESTIAL MARRIAGE MUSES DELHIITES

New Delhi, November 7: Tens of thousands of eyes were spell bound by the magical divine charm of the grandeur wedding celebrations of the utsava murthies of Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi which was performed on Saturday as the part of ongoing nine-day Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams in New Delhi.

Meanwhile, the divine marriage began with the Archakas performing Punyaha Vachanam followed by Visvaksena Aradhana, Ankurarpana, Pratisara Bandhana, Agnipratishta, Vastra Samarpana, Maha Sankalpam, Kanyadanam, Mangalya Dharana, Varanamayiram and concluded with rendition of Aarti.

The denizens of Delhi were thrilled to see the divine beauty of the deities in this most important ritual and the entire premises was awestruck to see the magnificence of the deities in the guises of bridegroom and brides.

Meanwhile KALYANAM is usually performed seeking the divine blessings for the blissful married life and for the prosperity of entire humanity.

Former Delhi CM Smt Sheela Dixit, TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao, Joint Executive Officer Sri Pola Bhaskar also took part in the religious fete.

The entire premises echoed with GOVINDA Namam uttered by devotees when the celestial wedding was underway.
