TIRUPATI, JAN 11: The jewels and various other precious objects donated by various donors to the coffers of Lord Venkateswara are in tact as per the records of TTD, said TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam.

Addressing media persons in Sri Padmavathi Guest House in Tirupati on Friday evening, TTD EO reiterated that all the jewels and other precious objects which have been donated to Lord since centuries till today are being maintained in the Tiruvabharanam register since 1952. “Since then, whatever precious donations made to Lord are being recorded and registered with all particulars and they are safe in TTD treasury”, he said.

Elaborating further the EO said, a high level committee comprising experts from Archaelogical Survey of India (ASI) has been constituted to verify, examine and estimate the antiquity of the jewels and objects. “From the past six months, they have been seriously working out on this mission. One member in the committee, during his preliminary examination, has even expressed that some items may belong to Vijayanagara period. But we may arrive at a final conclusion only after the confirmation from all the members who have indepth historical knowlege”, he added.

The EO said, “we are even contemplating to display some of the jewels in our museum and we are working out on the concept of display, design, dimension etc. We are hopeful that a totally new look museum may happen by this year end so that a pilgrim can spend more that four hours in this concept museum in Tirumala”, he added.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Srinivasa Raju, CVSO Sri GVG Ashok Kumar, Chief Museum Officer Sri Vijay Kumar were also present.

తిరుపతి, జనవరి 11, 2013: శ్రీవారి ఆభరణాల భద్రతకు సంబంధించి పటిష్టమైన చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నామని, ఈ మేరకు 1952వ సంవత్సరం నుండి తిరువాభరణం రిజిస్టర్‌ను పక్కాగా నిర్వహిస్తున్నామని తితిదే కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీ ఎల్వీ సుబ్రమణ్యం వెల్లడించారు. తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీ పద్మావతి అతిథిగృహంలో శుక్రవారం సాయంత్రం ఆయన విలేకరుల సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా ఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ శ్రీవారికి కైంకర్యానికి ఉపయోగించిన వస్తువులు, దాతలు బహుమతిగా అందజేసిన ఆభరణాలు ఇతర వస్తువులు తితిదే పరిపాలనా భవనంలోని ఖజానాలో ఉన్నాయని, వీటికి గల చారిత్రక విశేషాలను పరిశీలించేందుకు ఆర్కియాలజీ సర్వే ఆఫ్‌ ఇండియా నుండి నలుగురు అధికారులతో కమిటీని నియమించామని తెలిపారు. కమిటీ సభ్యులు ఒక్కో వస్తువును పరిశీలించి అది ఏ కాలానికి సంబంధించింది, దానికి ఉన్న విశిష్టత తదితర విషయాలను పొందుపరుస్తున్నారని వివరించారు. ఈ క్రమంలో ఒక సభ్యుడు శ్రీకృష్ణదేవరాయలు పరిపాలనా కాలానికి చెందిన వస్తువులున్నాయని ప్రాథమికంగా అనుమానం వ్యక్తం చేశారని, దీనిపై కమిటీ సభ్యులంతా ఏకాభిప్రాయానికి రావాల్సి ఉందని తెలిపారు.
ఈ పరిశీలన పూర్తయిన తరువాత చారిత్రక ప్రాధాన్యత గల శ్రీవారి ఆభరణాలు, వస్తువులను తిరుమలలోని శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర మ్యూజియంలో ప్రదర్శనకు ఉంచడానికి కృషి చేస్తున్నట్టు ఆయన వివరించారు. ఈ సంవత్సరాంతానికి మ్యూజియంలో ప్రత్యేకంగా ఏర్పాట్లు చేసి ఆకర్షణీయంగా ప్రదర్శనకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నట్టు ఈవో తెలిపారు. ఈ మేరకు శ్రీవారి ఆభరణాల భద్రత, నిర్వహణకు అనుసరిస్తున్న నిర్దిష్ట విధానాన్ని గతంలోనే అనేకానేక కమిటీలు ప్రశంసించినట్టు తెలిపారు.

విలేకరుల సమావేశంలో తితిదే తిరుమల సంయుక్త కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు, ముఖ్య నిఘా మరియు భద్రతాధికారి శ్రీ జివిజి.అశోక్‌కుమార్‌ పాల్గొన్నారు.
