MAIDEN ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS AT NEW DELHI VENKATESWARA TEMPLE

TIRUPATI, MAY 16:   The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTDs) is all set to perform the maiden brahmotsavams in Lord Venkateswara temple at Golemarket in New Delhi which will commence on 18th of May with Ankurarpanam on May 12.

Elaborate arrangements are in place to conduct the three-day annual mega religious fete for the first time in this temple. The Dhwajarohanam ceremony, hoisting the holy flag bearing the image of Lord Garuda-king of Aves, on the temple pillar which marks the traditional opening of the ceremony is scheduled take place on May 18.

Lord will take celestial ride on his favourite Garuda vehicle in the evening of May 19 in the busy streets of the area.  The annual fete will conclude with Dhwajavaroahnam which marks the successful closing of the annual religious ceremony which takes place on 20th of May.

TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, JEO Sri P Bhaskar,  Spl.Gr.Dy EO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi, AEO Sri Ananda Raju and others will take part in this event.

TTD has also arranged special cultrual and spiritual programmes every day under the aegis of Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad and Dasa Sahitya Projecs in the evening.
