MAIDEN ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS OF LORD CHANDRAMOULISWARA COMMENCE AT RISHIKESH

RISHIKESH ANDHRASHRAM, APRIL 30:  The five-day annual brahmotsavams of Chandramuliswara Swamy commenced with religious pomp and gaiety here on Wednesday.

The maiden brahmotsavams commenced on a religious note with Dhwajaroahna Mahotsavams which took place between 8am to 11am followed by Kalpavrisksha Vahanam at 11.30am.

The processional deities of Lord Chandramouliswara Swamy accompanied by His two consorts Goddess Ganga and Goddess Parvathi took celestial ride on the divine tree vehicles in the streets of temple premises amidst the chanting of “Hara Hara Maha Deva” by multitude of devotees who converged to witness the grandeur of Lord on the grand vehicle.

Meanwhile the Lord will grace the devotees on Hamsa Vahanam in the evening.

This is for the first time the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams have been performing annual brahmtosavams in this famous temple of Lord Shiva in Rishikesh.

Special Grade Deputy EO Smt Chenchulakshmi, DyEO Annaprasadam Sri Venugopal were also present.
