“MANAGUDI SARE” GETS THE DIVINE BLESSINGS

TIRUMALA, JULY 25:  The sacred items meant for fifth phase of “Managudi” programme which is slated to take place in the temples across states of Andhra Pradesha and Telengana  on August 10, were placed at the holy feet of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Friday.Earlier the fete started with the procession of sacred items including “Kankanams”(holy threads), Pasupu (Turmeric) and Kumkuma (Vermilion) packets from Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple to Srivari temple.

After coming out of the temple, TTD EO Sri MG Gopalid, the religious programme of fifth phase of Managudi will be conducted jointly by TTD and AP Endowments Department in over 52,000 temples across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telengana on August 10 on the auspicious occasion of Shravana Pournami. The sacred items meant for this religious fete were placed at the Divine feet of Lord Venkateswara for His blessings before they were being dispatched to the respective temples, he added.

“This time this fete will be unique since, Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao will deliver spiritual address on the importance of “Managudi” programme couple of days before the occasion. This programme is a mass programme and people of the respective places should voluntarily join in the temple cleansing, decorating and other activities and be a part in the success of the programme”, he maintained.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, HDPP Special Officer Sri S Raghunath, Temple Deputy EO Sri C Ramana and others were also present.
