MARGAZHI PRAVACHANAM COMMENCES IN AKM

Tirupati, 16 December 2016: The month long Anal Sri Godai Tiruppavai pravachanam commenced on a religious note on Friday evening in Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati.

After the mangalasasanams of HH Sri Tirumala Chinna Jiyar Swami, renowned Tamil-Sanskrit scholar Sri C Ranganathan delivered spiritual discourse on the first pasuram rendered by Andal.

Earlier versatile vocalist Smt Dwaram Lakshmi rendered the first Godai pasuram from Tiruppavai in a melodious manner.

Special officer All Projects Sri N Muktheswara Rao, Alwar Divya Prabanda Project officer Sri Chokkalingam were also present.

The AKM auditorium premises was jam packed with audience who thronged to listen to the goda pasura parayanam in the auspicious dhanurmasam which commenced on Friday.

This programme will last for a month till January 15. From December 17 onwards the spiritual discourse will be from 7am to 8am.
