MATRUSRI TARIGONDA VENGAMAMBA 193rd VARDHANTHI
Tirumala, 30 July 2009: The TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri D.K.Audikesavulu and TTD Executive Officer Sri I.Y.R.Krishna Rao have today released the audio albums of Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba’s Sankeerthanas which date back to early 18th century. The albums produced by Sri Venkateswara Recording Project are titled: 1. Tapodhyanam. 2. Parabramha Ganam. 3. Padathirthamu. The event was held at the tomb of the legendary saint poet at Tirumala.
On this occasion, the TTD Chairman and Executive Officer also released three publications on the works of Matrusri Tarigonda Venagamamba. The Books are titled 1. Siva Atoka (Yaksha Gamma). 2. Vidhushimani Vengamamba. 3. Tarigonda Vengamamba Bura Katha.
Later while addressing the media the TTD Chairman said the TTD was committed to the development of Tarigonda Village, which the devasthanam had adopted. The Temple of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy was also rescued from delaphilitation.
TTDs Spl Officer Sri A.V.Dharma Reddy, SVETA Director Sri Bhuman, Tarigonda Vengamamba Spl Officer Sri K.J.Krishnamurthy, Spl Officer Recording Project Sri Kamisetty Srinivasulu and others were present.
