Tirumala, 08 January 2024: TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy said all-out safety measures were initiated for devotees protection from the threat of wild animals attack and they could walk the footpath to Tirumala without any fear.
Addressing a review meeting with TTD and Government forest officials at the Administrative Building on Monday the EO said the Government has set up a joint Committee with TTD DFO, AP Principal Chief Conservator of forests (wildlife) under the Chairmanship of AP Chief wildlife warden has conducted a field study of the situation twice and submitted a report with long term and immediate tasks on the footpath.
Earlier TTD DFO, Tirupati Circle CCF and DFO Tirupati also made a presentation on the issue.
He also discussed on steps including protection of wildlife, infrastructure, staff, bio fencing, aerial way, underpass etc.
He instructed the DFO to write to the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun with aerial walkway, underpass, overpass arrangements for approval.
He also urged the Tirupati DFO to provide camera traps, view line, outpost and monitoring cell set up with ₹3.75 crore funds provided by TTD.
He also instructed the CE to organize lighting on both sides of the footpath from the 7th mile to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple and monitoring building.
He wanted the Health Officer to organise the removal of wastes in footpath on daily basis to avoid the attraction if wild animals.

తిరుమల, 2024 జనవరి 08: తిరుమల నడకమార్గాల్లో అడవి జంతువుల నుండి భ‌క్తుల ర‌క్ష‌ణ కోసం విస్తృత ఏర్పాట్లు చేప‌డుతున్నామ‌ని, భ‌క్తులు నిర్భ‌యంగా నడకమార్గాల్లో శ్రీ‌వారి ద‌ర్శ‌నానికి రావొచ్చని టీటీడీ ఈవో శ్రీ ఎవి.ధ‌ర్మారెడ్డి అన్నారు. తిరుప‌తిలోని టీటీడీ ప‌రిపాల‌న భ‌వ‌నంలో సోమ‌వారం టీటీడీ మరియు ప్రభుత్వ అట‌వీ శాఖ అధికారుల‌తో ఈవో స‌మావేశం నిర్వ‌హించారు. ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా టీటీడీ డిఎఫ్‌వో, తిరుప‌తి స‌ర్కిల్‌ సీసీఎఫ్, తిరుప‌తి డిఎఫ్‌వో లు క‌లిసి ప్ర‌జంటేష‌న్ ద్వారా ఈవోకు వివ‌రించారు.
ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా ఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ తిరుమల న‌డ‌క‌దారిలో అడవి జంతువుల నుండి భ‌క్తుల ర‌క్ష‌ణ కోసం ప్రిన్సిప‌ల్ చీఫ్ క‌న్జ‌ర్వేట‌ర్ ఆఫ్ ఫారెస్ట్(వైల్డ్లైఫ్) మరియు ఎపి చీఫ్ వైల్డ్లైఫ్ వార్డెన్ అధ్య‌క్ష‌త‌న రాష్ట్ర ప్ర‌భుత్వం జాయింట్ క‌మిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేసింద‌న్నారు. ఆ క‌మిటీ క్షేత్ర‌స్థాయిలో ప‌రిశీల‌న జ‌రిపి రెండుసార్లు స‌మావేశ‌మై ప్ర‌భుత్వానికి నివేదిక స‌మ‌ర్పించిందన్నారు. న‌డ‌క మార్గంలో భ‌క్తుల ర‌క్ష‌ణ కోసం తీసుకోవాల్సిన స్వ‌ల్ప‌కాలిక, దీర్ఘ‌కాలిక చర్యలను నివేదిక‌లో పొందుప‌రిచార‌ని తెలియ‌జేశారు. స్వ‌ల్ప‌కాలిక చర్యలను కొన‌సాగించాల‌ని సూచించిన‌ట్టు చెప్పారు. అదేవిధంగా, టీటీడీ, ప్రభుత్వ అట‌వీ శాఖ ఇప్ప‌టివ‌ర‌కు తీసుకున్న స్వ‌ల్ప‌కాలిక చ‌ర్య‌ల‌పై ఈవో కూలంక‌షంగా చ‌ర్చించారు. దీర్ఘ‌కాలిక చ‌ర్య‌లైన అడవి జంతువుల ప‌ర్య‌వేక్ష‌ణ, అందుకు కావలసిన భ‌వ‌న స‌దుపాయం, సిబ్బంది, వ్యూలైన్ల ఏర్పాటు, బ‌యోఫెన్సింగ్‌(పొద‌ల కంచె), ఏరియ‌ల్ వాక్ వే, అండ‌ర్‌పాస్‌, ఓవ‌ర్‌పాస్‌ల కోసం స్థ‌ల ఎంపిక ఇత‌ర మౌలిక వ‌స‌తులపై చ‌ర్చించారు.
వైల్డ్ లైఫ్ ఇనిస్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా, డెహ్రాడూన్ వారికి లేఖ రాయాల‌ని డిఎఫ్ఓను ఆదేశించారు. ఇందులో ఏరియ‌ల్ వాక్‌వే, అండ‌ర్‌పాస్‌, ఓవ‌ర్‌పాస్ ఏర్పాటుకు ఆకృతులు అందించాల‌ని, టీటీడీ అట‌వీ యాజ‌మాన్య ప్ర‌ణాళిక‌ల‌కు తోడ్పాటునందించాల‌ని విజ్ఞ‌ప్తి చేయాల‌ని కోరారు. టీటీడీ అందించిన రూ.3.75 కోట్లతో వ‌న్య‌ప్రాణుల ప‌ర్య‌వేక్ష‌ణ‌కు కావాల్సిన కెమెరాట్రాప్‌లు, మానిట‌రింగ్ సెల్, వ్యూలైన్ల ఏర్పాటు, అవుట్ పోస్ట్‌ల నిర్వ‌హ‌ణ‌కు స‌త్వ‌రం చ‌ర్య‌లు చేప‌ట్టాల‌ని తిరుప‌తి డిఎఫ్ఓను కోరారు. ఏడో మైలు నుండి శ్రీ ల‌క్ష్మీన‌ర‌సింహ‌స్వామివారి ఆల‌యం వ‌ర‌కు న‌డ‌క‌దారికి ఇరువైపులా లైటింగ్ వ‌స‌తి క‌ల్పించాల‌ని, మానిట‌రింగ్ సెల్ కోసం భ‌వ‌నాన్ని సమకూర్చాలని సీఈని కోరారు. తిరుమల నడకమార్గాల్లో ఏరోజుకారోజు వ్య‌ర్థాల‌ను తొల‌గించాల‌ని, త‌ద్వారా అడవి జంతువులు రాకుండా చేయాల‌ని ఆరోగ్య‌శాఖాధికారిని ఆదేశించారు.
