MORE FACILITIES TO PILGRIMS ON FOOT PATH ROUTES-TTD EO

Tirupati, 26 September 2016: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has directed the Engineering wing to arrange more amenities including Jalaprasadam units, lighting facilities, display of call centre and toll free numbers etc. in both the footpath routes for the benefit of the pedestrian pilgrims.

During the senior officers review meeting held at his chambers in Tirupati on Monday, the EO instructed the engineering officials to complete all the pending civil works including the construction of compound wall in Appalayagunta, Vahana Mandapam in Kapilateertham, Pushkarini in Devunikadapa etc.

The EO said, the TTD vigilance in co-ordination with the police should make necessary parking arrangements at Alipiri and Srivari Mettu for two-wheelers during Garuda Seva day on October 7.

Later he instructed the concerned to upgrade the systems in computer labs of TTD educational institutions.

“The Sapthagiri edition should be dispatched to the subscribers on time and the information should be acknowledged to the concerned through an SMS alert. The call centre and toll free numbers should be given wide publicity in SVBC”, he added.

Later the EO also reviewed on the cultural programmes with various project heads for ensuing brahmotsavams.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji and other officers were also present.
