“MORE GODOWNS TO STORE HAIR”-TTD EO

Tirupati, 17 June 2015: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Wednesday instructed the engineering officials to set up more godowns to store human hair.

The internal audit meeting took place in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Wednesday. Speaking on this occasion the EO said there need for more godowns to store the human hair that were offered by millions of pilgrims who are tonsuring their head in a year in Tirumala. He also appreciated the officials concerned for streamlining the mechanism of laddu system. He instructed to place fire detecting macines in Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasada Bhavanam and also CCTVs in all local temples. He said all projects should invite the suggestions from the pilgrims and improvise the programmes including Harikatha, Bhajana, Sankeertans and religious discourses and should take up the Sanatana HINDU dharma Prachara with more effectiveness in remote hamlets also”, he maintained.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri Nagendra kumar, Addl FACAO Sri O Balaji, auditors Sri Narasimha Rao and company, Sri Sharad and company and others were also present.
