MORE LUGGAGE COUNTERS FOR PILGRIMS SAKE- EO

Tirumala, 27 April 2017: In view of summer vacation rush, the TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed the engineering wing to identify two more places to set up luggage centres in Tirumala.

The weekly review meeting took place at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Thursday. The EO reviewed on various developmental activities with respect to various departments with HoDs in Tirumala. Speaking on this occasion the EO said, the deposit and collection luggage centres should enable the pilgrims to save time.

Complimenting the IT wing of TTD and TCS for successfully implementing the Cottage Donor Management Scheme (CDMS), the EO directed the officials concerned to also plan similar scheme for Udayasthamana Seva ticket holders.

He also instructed the Health Officer Dr Sermista and Aswini Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Narmada to take initiatives to see that the used blades in Kalyananakatta should not be mixed with medical wastage or other garbage and separate disposal mechanism need to be worked out for the same.

Later the EO instructed the engineering wing to come out with the best model of Sarva Darshanam complex for the convenience of the pilgrims.
