MORE PoS MACHINES-JEO

Tirumala, 28 November 2016: To overcome the woes of currency crunch, TTD has negotiated with the banks in Tirumala to place PoS machines for the sake of the pilgrims, said TTD Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

Weekly review meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Monday. The JEO said, the bankers are sought to keep more number of swiping machines at VQC 2, Divya Darshanam complex, in hotels, for the sake of the pilgrims”, he maintained.

Later he said, as the influx of pilgrims are less at this point of time, the engineering wing is instructed to complete all the pending works. “There will be pilgrim surge from second week of December on wards. So before that all the pending works should be completed”, he directed the officials concerned.

The JEO also said, as the Indian Science Congress is scheduled from January 3 to 7, he said the delegates from across the country may visit the hill town for darshan of Lord. “Necessary arrangements should be made to them without affecting common pilgrims”, he told the officials

DyEOs Sri Kodanda Rama Rao, Sri Harindranath, VGO Smt Vimala Kumari, Health Officer Dr Sermista, Garden Dy Director Sri Srinivasulu, Catering Officer Sri Sastry and other officers were also present.
