MORE QUALITATIVE SERVICES TO PILGRIMS THROUGH ANNPRASADAM TRUST

Tirupati, 29 April 2015: TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao said that Ttd will enhance the taste of the delicacies that are being served by Annaprasadam Wing of TTD to scores of pilgrims in Tirupati, Tirumala and Tiruchanoor.

Reviewing on the Annaprasadam Trust in his chambers in administrative building in TIrupati on Wednesday the EO said the wastage of food should be minimised while serving food. He said one more cold storage room will be set up to store vegetables. The EO said so far Rs.601 crores have been accumulated in SV Annaprasadam Trust through the offerings made by donors. He said more vehicles will also be allotted for distribution for food to pilgrims.

Earlier Annaprasadam DyEO Sri Venugopal briefed ttd EO on the activities of the trust through PowerPoint presentation.

JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Procurement EE Sri Sreenivasulu were also present.
