MUSEUM EXPO MUSES DEVOTEES
RAJAMUNDRY, 16 July 2015: The devotees were mused by the charm of the ancient pictographs depicting thousands of years of past glory of Tirumala displayed in the exhibition by TTD Museum department here at Municipal Grounds as a part of the ongoing Godavari Maha Pushkaram 2015.
The Srinivasa Kalyanam episode in small sized glass enclosures stood as a special attraction in exhibition. The images of Annamaiah copper plates, importance the jewels and their names that are adorned to Lord, the photos of Makaratoranams of different temples including Srivari temple, Nagulapuram temple, Tiruchanoor etc. were also given prime place.
The unique one being “Akshara Hari”. The image of Lord Venkateswara in “Telugu Aksharamala” stood as the special attraction.
The portrait of Srimannarayana in different yugas also impressed the pilgrims to a great extent. The Lord in Krita appeared in Sveta Varna(White), Tretayuga-Red, Dwapara-Rukmanga, Kali-Megha Varnam caught the attention of visitors.
