MUTYAPU PANDIRI VAHANAM ENHANCES THE BEAUTY OF GODDESS

Tiruchanoor, 28 Nov. 16: Goddess Padmavathi who is seated eloquently on riches and wealth takes an enchanting ride on Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam as a part of the ongoing Navahnika brahmotsavams which has reached third day on Monday morning.

SIGNIFICANCE: Pearl in Sanskrit is called mukta. It is a natural stone that is made by the combination of sun, water and earth. It rules the tides at the sea. It also rules the vegetables and plants. Moon is powerful. It is the only celestial body that provides earth with light in the night. Without the moon earth would be absolutely dark at nights. The moon is white in colour so is pearl.

Moon is associated with peace as a result this gem also brings peace of mind for all. By taking ride on this pearl studded canopy, Goddess gives a soothing feel to Her devotees.
