NAMMALWAR SATHUMORA HELD _ వైభవంగా నమ్మాళ్వార్ శాత్తుమొర
Tirupati, 24 May 2024: One among 12 Sri Vaishnava Alwars, Sri Nammalwar Sattumora was solemnly performed on Friday in Nammalwar Sannidhi at the Alwar Theertham in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati.
This ancient and historical temple is 1500 years old. It appears from the inscriptions that when Bhagavad Sri Ramanujacharya first came to Tirupati, he visited this temple and stayed here for a year.
The priests said that they used to spend time and study the Ramayana at the Alipiri Padala Mandapam.
The temple enshrines idols of Nammalwar, Thirumangai Alwar, Bhagavad Ramanujua and Thiruvarangattu Amudanar.
Tirumala Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and other officials and devotees participated in this program.

తిరుపతి, 2024 మే 24: తిరుపతి కపిల తీర్థం సమీపంలోని ఆళ్వార్ తీర్థములో వేంచేసి ఉన్న నమ్మాళ్వార్ సన్నిధిలో శుక్రవారం నమ్మాళ్వార్ శాత్తుమొర ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు.
ఈ ఆలయం 1500 సంవత్సరముల పురాతనమైనది. భగవద్ రామానుజాచార్యులు మొదటిసారి తిరుపతికి వచ్చినప్పుడు మొట్ట మొదట ఈ ఆలయాన్ని సందర్శించి, ఒక సంవత్సరం పాటు ఈ ఆలయంలో వేంచేసినట్లు శాసనాల ద్వారా తెలుస్తోంది. అలిపిరి పాదాల మండపం వద్ద రామాయణ కాలక్షేపం, అధ్యయనం చేసేవారని అర్చకులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ ఆలయంలో నమ్మాళ్వార్, తిరుమంగై ఆళ్వార్, భగవద్ రామానుజులు, తిరువరంగత్తు అముదనార్ విగ్రహాలను ప్రతిష్టించి ఉన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో తిరుమల శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ పెద్ద జీయర్ స్వామి, శ్రీ శ్రీ చిన్న జీయర్ స్వామి, ఇతర అధికారులు భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
