NATIONAL VEDIC SEMINAR FROM MARCH 17-20

Tirupati, 15 March 2015: The four day National Vedic Seminar will be organised from March 17-20 under the aegis of SV Vedic University and Hon’ble AP Governor Sri ESL Narasimhan will inaugurate the fete said, the varsity VC Sri KE Devanathan.

Addressing the press conference in the varsity premises, the VC briefed about the seminar. About 90 Sanskrit from various parts of the country will present papers on various topics on this occasion. We have arranged Sanskrit, Telugu and English platforms separately for the seminar. The topics will be on Veda-vedangas, Veda and science, Veda-Itihasa-Puranas in these languages separately, he maintained. Every day there will be “Veda Nivedanam” from 2.30pm to 4.00pm and “Veda Ghanaswasthi” debate programme with Sanskrit scholars between 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

There will also be Vedic exhibition. Renowned veteran Sanskrit scholars Sri NNR Tatacharya, Sri TS Swaminathan, Sri Vadlamani Venkateswara Avadhani, Sri Sarveswara Somayaji, Sri Devanadhacharya will be felicitated on this occasion, the VC said.
