NDC TEAM POURS ACCOLADES ON TTD ACTIVITIES

TIRUPATI, MARCH 10: A 14-member team from National Defence College comprising senior officers of IPS cadre hailing from Indian Army, Navy and Air force complimented TTD for its religious and social activities.

The committee had a formal meeting in SPRH on Tuesday with Tirupati JEO and (In-charge JEO Tirumala) Sri Pola Bhaskar who briefed them about various activities taken up by TTD for the sake of the pilgrims including darshan, accommodation, prasadams, tonsuring and other facilities etc .through power point presentation.

He also explained to them the various charitable activities including the trusts and scheme operated by TTD, homes that are being run for lepers, poor and destitute, special schools for Deaf and Dumb students, physically handicapped and orphans etc.

The team appreciated the religious and social activities taken up by TTD especially in pilgrim crowd management using an organised system of queue line for various modes of darshan.

HDPP Special Officer Sri S Raghunath, Deputy EO Services Sri Siva Reddy were also present.
