NEW EO TAKES CHARGE

Tirumala, 17 December 2014: Dr D Samba Siva Rao, IAS has taken the charge as the 24th Executive Officer of TTD in Srivari temple on Wednesday.

After taking the charge from outgoing EO sri MG Gopal, the new EO was administered oath inside sanctorum by Tirumala Joint Executive Officer Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

The new EO after darshan had vedasirvachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later he was offered prasadams by JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri Pola Bhaskar.

Later speaking to media persons outside the temple the EO said nearly 60 to 65 thousand pilgrims on an average are visiting tirumala everyday. We all should strive hard to see that every pilgrim should be a brand ambassador of our Hindu Santana dharma. We should make our temple city as a Smart-Religious city”, he added.

Adding further, TTD EO said, with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara I am confident that we can make further improvements and amenities for pilgrims by utilising the embedded extraordinary talents of the strong workforce of TTD, he maintained.
