NEW FOOTPATH COMPLEX ON THE LINES OF SPECIAL ENTRY DARSHAN

PIPELINE FOR PROPER UTILISATION OF GHEE-TTD EO

Tirupati, 24 May 2016: With the success of Rs.300 special entry darshan after the construction of new waiting complex, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao instructed the engineering officials to workout the modalities to construct similar complex even for pedestrian pilgrims.

SHOULD SERVE AS A MULTIPURPOSE COMPLEX:

During the review meeting of senior officers held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the EO directed the officials concerned to find out two or three suitable places in Tirumala to construct a waiting complex even for footpath route pilgrims and come with options in a week’s time. “The complex should serve as a multipurpose one with proper luggage counters, RO system and even scanning options”, he maintained.

PIPELINE FOR TRANSPARENT USAGE OF GHEE:

Later the EO suggested the potu officials to follow transparent methodologies in usage of ghee for preparing laddus. Separate labelling for used and unused ghee should be followed, he directed the concerned. He also instructed the engineering officials to lay pipeline even for usage of laddus to enhance transparency.

RATIONALISATION OF ROOM BLOCKING SYSTEM:

The EO instructed the IT wing of TTD and TCS to come with an application to rationalise the room blocking system with multiples of six up to 24hours to enhance transparency in accommodation allotment.

Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, additional FACAO Sri Balaji, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy and other senior officers were also present.
