NEXT GEN SERVICES OF IT FOR GARUDA SEVA-IT WING HEAD

Tirumala, 6 October 2016: TTD has rolled out Nextgen technology to provide foolproof e-services and deliverables to devotees giving them global access.

Sri PV Shesha Reddy, the HOD of IT wing in TTD says that devotees can now access TTD services from any where in the world to book their darshan, laddus, rooms and also tonsuring.

Addressing the reporters at the Media center, at Rambagicha Rest House -2 as a part of the Brahmotsavam -2016, he said the donor management application was one of the unique applications which provided benefits and privileges to donors to various schemes and trusts of TTD without any paperwork. “Even their passbooks containing their privileges and benefits have been digitized . ‘ The technological innovations introduced in the last ‪1-1/2‬years under the leadership of the EO Dr D Sambashiv Rao have brought a sea change in our deliverables to devotees and also administration thereby improving our quality of service”, he added.

Sri Reddy who also heads the Transport division said that auto-clinics, nine units of repair and emergency services in the down-way ghat road and 8 in the up ghat road have been placed to facilitate all break downs and other emergency needs of motorists coming for the brahmotsavams. ‘We want to ensure that devotees are not put to trouble at any point in their urge to participate in the crucial Garuda Seva event at Tirumala hill shrine, he said.
