OFFER MORE TRANSPARENT SERVICES TO PILGRIMS DURING BRAHMOTSAVAMS-EO

TIRUMALA, AUGUST 11: TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao called upon the HoDs of various departments of TTD to offer more transparent and flawless services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims during the upcoming srivari brahmotsavams.

During the weekly review meeting with senior officers of Tirumala on Tuesday in Annamaiah Bhavan, he said, as twin brahmotsavams are in offing in September and October respectively this year, the pilgrim influx to Tirumala will be more and hence the officials of all departments should gear up to meet the necessities of the multitude of pilgrims.

He has instructed the Annaprasadam, Laddu, Temple, Vigilance, Health, Kalyanakatta and Reception wings to be more effective in discharging services to the pilgrims.

“All the pending engineering works should be completed within the stipulated time. There should be continuous power supply during the mega event. Announcements regarding darshan timings, accommodation vacancy etc should be given round the clock through public address system”, he directed the electrical wing.

He also instructed the vigilance wing to come out with a perfect plan of entry and exit in galleries to avoid any untoward incident.

Annaprasadam wing can serve different menus during the event. The supply of food by Annaprasadam and water by health departments should be at regular intervals especially in galleries. Utilise the services of Srivari Sevakulu in an effective manner”, he said.

CVSO Sri G Nagendra Kumar, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji were also present.
