MAIDEN SIGN ON RAMANUJA SAHASRABDI DONATION

Tirumala, 6 May 2017: Attributing his posting as 25th Executive Officer of world renowned Hindu religious institution Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to the blessings of his parents, teachers, wellwishers and Almighty, the new EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal said, his top priority is to provide the best possible services to the multitude of visiting pilgrims.

Sri AK Singhal took charge as the new EO of TTD from his predecessor Dr D Sambasiva Rao in Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala on Saturday. After taking charge, he had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. The Vedic pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam to the new EO while Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar presented him the sesha vastram, teertha prasadams, lamination photo of Lord.

Speaking to media on this occasion he said, “Every day tens of thousands of pilgrims from across the country as well globe throng this famous hill shrine. My predecessors have done lot of development for the benefit of pilgrims. But there is no end to improvement. We work as a team to provide the best possible darshan to every pilgrim”, he added.

SIGNS RAMANUJA SAHASRABDI DONATION FILE

The maiden signature of Sri AK Singhal after taking charge as TTD EO was on Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi Yagnopaveetham donation file.
Tirumala Pontiff HH Sri Pedda Jiyangar Swamy, in connection with the millennium birth anniversary of Sri Vaishnava Saint Sri Ramanujacharya is contributing a silver yagnopaveetham to Sri Bhashyakarula Varu, the mulamurthi in Sri Bhashyakarula Sannidhi inside Tirumala temple.

TTD EO Sri AK Singhal made his first official signature on this file.

After darshan, TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar had a formal introductory meeting with all the HoDs of Tirumala and Tirupati in Annamaiah Bhavan at Tirumala on Saturday.

Addressing the officers, the EO said, “There is no post in the country or in the world which could match a posting in TTD. It is based on our past deeds. Posting in TTD is not just a Job. It is a Service. Here all the pilgrims are guests of Lord. And we are not only the servants of Lord but his guests too. I wish with your support and experience, as a team we can provide much better services to every pilgrim”, he added.

Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, All Projects Special Officer Sri Muktheswara Rao, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji and other senior officers were also present.
