ONTIMITTA BRAHMOTSAVAMS OFF TO A GRAND START

STATE MINISTER OFFERS SILLK VASTRAMS

Ontimitta 15 April 2015: The annual navahnika brahmotsavams off to a colourful start in Sri Kodandarama Swami temple at ontimitta in YSR Kadapa district on Friday.
The dhwajapatham bearing the image of Lord Garuda was hoisted on temple pillar in a ceremonious manner amidst the vedic chant by archakas as per Pancharatra Agama.

Honourable minister Sri Ghanta Srinivasa Rao offered new silk vastrams on behalf of state government. He said the motto of CM Sri N Chandra babu Naidu is to develop ontimitta temple as most sought after pilgrim centre.

Other prominent persons included local mla Sri M Mallikarjun Reddy, CM Ramesh, former MP Sri Saipratap, Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar, Dyeos Sri Balaji, Sri veerabrahmam, Smt Varalakshmi and others.
