OVER FIVE LAKHS WITNESS SVV-TIRUPATI JEO
Hyderbadab, 12 February 2016: The seven-day Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams came to a grand end in the massive NTR Stadium at Hyderabad on Friday.
After the religious event, addressing media persons the Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said over five lakhs thronged the premises to witness the different rituals that were being performed to Lord Venkateswara in the replica temple set up here.
The JEO thanked the philanthropists who have come forward to conduct the event in a successful manner in collaboration with TTD. “The SVV was earlier conducted in Vizag, Guntur, Nellore, New Delhi and now in Hyderbad with the voluntary involvement of some donors. Even we are prepared to conduct the event in all the district head quarters on a regular basis”, he added.
Adding further, the JEO said, “The response was huge to this religious event as it enables the devotees of the respective areas to witness all the rare and unique rituals that which are performed at Tirumala every day, sitting right in their home towns. This is one of the best medium for the propagation of our Sanatana Dharma and Venkateswara Bhakti Cult”, he observed.
Later he complimented the team of officials including the temple team comprising Archakas, florists from Garden wing, Vigilance for providing security and others for making elaborate arrangements to make the event a grand success.
