PAVITHROTSAVAM FROM SEP 14-16 IN SRI VENKATESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE AT DEVUNI KADAPA
Tirupati, 12 September 2016: The holy event of Pavitrotsavam will kick off at the TTD sub temple in Devuni Kadapa Sri SV Temple, at YSR Kadapa Dist from Sept 14-16.
The three day festival will commence with Vishwaksena Puja and Ankurarpana on Sept 13 evening.
On Day one- Sept 14 Snapana Thirumanjanam, Punya Havachanam, Yagashala puja, Pavitra Pratista will be performed during morning and Nitya Homam will be performed in the evenings.
On Day-2, Sept 15 Pavitra Samarpana, in the morning and Pavitra Homam in evening will be performed.
On Day-3, Sept 16 Snapana Thirumanjanam and Maha Putanam, Maha Purnahuti will be performed in morning and Pavitra Vitarana and procession of utsava idols of swami and ammavaru will be conducted in the evening.
As part of the annual event the artists of HDPP, Annamacharya Project and Dasa Sahitya Projects will organise bhakti music, harikatha and Bhajan programs at the Devuni Kadapa SV Temple.
