PAVITROTSAVAMS CULMINATE WITH PURNAHUTI IN SRI PAT

Tiruchanur, 28 Sep. 15: The three-day annual pavitrotsavams have come to an end on a religious note with Purnahuthi ceremony in Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru temple at Tiruchanoor on Monday.

TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva who took part in this celestial fete which included Santhi Homam, Pavitramala Visarjanamu, Kumbhaprokshana and Nivedana as a part of Maha Purnahuti.

While in the evening the procession of Sri Krishnaswamivaru, Sri Sundararaja Swamivaru and Goddess Padmavathi took place one after another in a series in four mada streets.

Meanwhile TTD has cancelled Astadala Padapadmaradhana, Samaveda Pushpanjali, Kalyanotsavam and Unjal sevas following the festival on Monday.

Temple Special Gr DyEO Smt Chenchulakshmi, AEO Smt Nagarathna and other staff were also present.
