PAYMENTS TO BHAJAN ARTISTES ACCOUNTS FROM JAN-TTD EO

Tirupati,23 September 2016: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao assured the representatives of Bhajana Mandalis that the payments will be made to the accounts of the artistes in Bhajan groups from January next onwards to have more transparency.

The EO held negotiations with the Bhajan Mandali representatives in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Friday. He said till then the payments will be made through “Gurus” (team leaders) and with this over 75 thousand registered Bhajan troop artistes will get benefitted.

He said the services of Bhajan Mandali members and artistes as well as Srivari sevakulu will be utilised for the promotion of Hindu dharma activities taken up by TTD in remote areas. “We are chalking out action plan to utilise the services of volunteers of respective places in TTD activities. Very soon we will come out with a specific training module for Bhajan Gurus and artistes. The artistes will be given an opportunity to perform at Mahati and Annamacharya auditoria also”, EO added.

The EO also informed the Bhajan troop leaders to properly make use of the instruments provided by TTD in the respective temples of their hamlets. “We will give opportunity to all the registered Bhajan troops to perform and hence forth you will get the information regarding events and programmes through SMS”, he maintained.
