PEDDA SESHA VAHANAM PROCESSION IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala, 15 November 2015: In connection with Nagula Chaviti festival on Sunday, the processional Deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy along with His consorts took a celestial ride on Peddasesha Vahanam.

Like Garuda Vahanam during every fullmoon day and on Garuda Panchami, the lord will take ride in the four-mada streets on finely decorated Pedda Sesha Vahanam-the seven hooded snake vehicle believed to be Adisesha and bless the devotees. The procession took place between 7pm to 9pm.

TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, TTD Trust Board Member Sri AV Ramana, Temple DyEO Sri Chinnamgari Ramana, Peishkar Sri R Selvam, Temple officials and pilgrims will take part in this event.
