PILGRIM SAVED IN A JOINT OPERATION CARRIED OUT BY TTD VIGILANCE AND OCTOPUS TEAMS

TIRUMALA, JAN 10: A rescue operation has been carried out by the OCTOPUS team and TTD security on Thursday morning following the reported fall of a pilgrim in Avvachary Kona on First Ghat road.
 
According to Chief Vigilance and Security Officer of TTD, Sri G V G Ashok Kumar, the pilgrim by name Srinivasa Rao aged about 23 years hailing from Kavali of Nellore District, has reportedly jumped into about 1000 ft deep valley during the wee hours.
 
On receiving the information by passers-by, the TTD Vigilance and OCTOPUS rushed to the spot and rescued the pilgrim and he was later sent to the RUIA hospital in Tirupati where his condition is said to be out of danger.
