PILGRIMS WILL BE GIVEN ADDL TWO MORE LADDUS- TIRUMALA JEO

Tirumala, 30 Jan. 15: Joint Executive Officer of TTDs Tirumala Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju told on friday that common devotees in the sarva darshanam queue lines of Vaikuntam Queue complex will be given tokens for two more laddus apart from the already existing two laddus which are given to the pilgrims in the Q lines itself.

In a statement he said TTD is already issuing two laddus at a subsidized cost of Rs 10 each. Henceforth two more laddus tokens at a cost of Rs.25 per laddu will be given and common pilgrims can purchase the laddus at the Laddu distribution centre outside the temple.

Sri Raju appealed to devotees that they should take advantage of all the facilities and initiatives taken up by the TTD for providing them the holy Laddu prasadam.

In a separate statement the TTD today clarified that there were no restrictions with regard to purchase of Srivari Laddu Prasadam.

Responding to a news paper report that the TTD officials had decided to adopt a rationing process for grant of Laddu prasadam to TTD employees, the TTD said such a report was baseless and that no such restriction has been imposed in respect of employees.
