PIOUS RAMA RIDES ON PURE PEARL VAHANAM

Tirupati, 20 Mar. 15: Maryada Purushottama Rama, who is a manifestation of purity, patience and perseverance, took celestial ride on the pearl studded Mutyapu Pandiri Vahanam on Friday evening.

As a part of the ongoing nine-day Navahnika Brahmotsavam of Lord Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy in Tirupati, the human incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu had a pleasant ride on the finely decked Pearl Vahanam flanked by His consort Goddess Sita Devi and His beloved brother Sri Lakshmana Swamy.

The pearl is the oldest known gem, and for many centuries it was considered the most valuable.Over time, the pearl has become the symbol of purity and innocence and the favourite gem stone of the deities.

On the pleasant night on Friday, the devotees were spell bound by astonishing charm of Lord Sri Rama which got doubled on Muthyapu Pandiri Vahanam.
