PRESERVE THE ARCHITECTIRAL BEAUTY OF OUR TEMPLES-DEVOTEES

Tirumala, 2 September 2016: While complimenting the TTD as the chief custodian of Hindu Sanatana Dharma for taking up many religious and social activities, the devotees urged TTD to preserve the rich architectural heritage of the temples by taking up renovation works.

The suggestions came from the pilgrims Sri Rajaram of Jaggaiahpeta and Sri Seshadri of Bengaluru during the monthly “Dial your EO” programme which was held at Annamaiah Bhavan on Friday, where they sought TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao to preserve the architectural beauty by taking up whitewash and painting work for which the EO replied TTD will ensure it and take necessary initiative in this direction.

ENSURE GOVINDA NAMA CHANTING ALONE IN TEMPLE

Another caller Sri Venkataramana brought to the notice of EO the need to streamline the luggage transporting system at Alipiri and also requested the EO to ensure only “Govinda Nama” inside the temple to enhance spiritual feel among devotees. EO said proper measures will be taken.
ENHANCE SERVICES IN ASWINI HOSPITAL

Pilgrims Sri Viswanatha Reddy of Karnataka and Smt Subbaratnamma of Proddutur informed the TTD administrative chief to enhance services in TTD-run Aswini Hospital in Tirumala for which the EO responded to improve the services in the hospital and see that the pilgrim patients are taken care of without any inconvenience.

TTD PUBLICATIONS ANS CDs ON WEBSITE

A caller Sri Srinivas from Vizag sought EO to make available all the publications and CDs of TTD on website for which the EO replied, TTD has already made it possible on its official website for the convenience of global pilgrims.

TIFFIN IN NIGHTS AT TARIGONDA

Another pilgrim Sri Satyanarayana from East Godavari sought EO to consider introduction of breakfast in Annaprasada Bhavanam instead of full meals for which EO replied, that TTD at present introduced the breakfast session between 9am and 11am and receiving feed backs from pilgrims. “After reviewing our survey report, we will see the possibility to introduce tiffin session even in the evenings”, he added.

PROVIDE MILK TO INFANTS AND AGED AT SRIVARI METTU

A pilgrim caller Sri Suresh Reddy from Chittoor sought the EO to distribute milk to infants and aged who come on foot through Srivari Mettu footpath route, for which the EO answered they will look into the possibility.

KALYANOTSAVAM IN NALGONDA

Another pilgrim Sri Narasimhulu sought the TTD EO to perform Kalyanotsavam in Gitamandiram of Nakrikel in Nalgonda, for which the EO said a team will be sent for the same to perform the celestial wedding.

SHED FOR DEER PARK

A Tirupati based pilgrim caller Smt Sarala urged the EO to provide shelter and water to Deer in Deer park. Answering the caller the EO said, TTD is already proving fodder and water to the deer. However as the area falls in wild life sanctuary, they does not require shelter, he added.

PROVIDE MORE TEERHAM AND SHATARI POINTS

Pilgrim caller Sri Bhavanishanker of Vijayawada brought to the notice ofTTD EO that as there is only one Teertham and Shatari point outside the sanctum, additional points can be thought of to disseminate the pilgrim crowd. He also suggested for measure to avoid congestion near Hundi. The EO said, they will look into the possibility of another Shatari and Teertham point. However he said additional koppera Hundi is in offing and will be set up soon.

Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy and other senior officers were also present.
