PRINCIPAL SECRETARY REVENUE ENDOWMENTS TAKES OATH AS TTD SA CHIEF

Tirumala, 15 January 2015: Sri J.S.V. Prasad, IAS, Prl.Sec.,Rev.Endts.Dept., took oath as the new Chairman of Specified Authority of TTD at Tirumala temple on Thursday morning.

TTD Executive Officer Dr.D.Sambasiva Rao administered him oath of office at Garudalwar Sannidhi inside sanctum Santorum of Srivari temple.

After having darshan of Lord Venkateswara, Sri Prasad was rendered vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later the EO along with JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and Sri P Bhaskar offered him Swamivari teertha, prasadams and presented laminated photo of Lord.

After coming out of the temple, talking to media persons, the specified authority chairman said, the Lord has given him an opportunity to serve the devotees for the third time. “Earlier I took oath twice as Endowments Commissioner and this time as Principal Secretary Endowments. From the five to six decades, TTD activities have immensely increased along with the increases pilgrim rush. Though we are taking dharmic programmes in a big way, there is much more to do. Since I have already worked with Dr. Sambasiva Rao and Sri Raju, I am confident our team will take forward pro-pilgrim activities in a big way”, he added.

Later the Specified Authority Chief of TTD extended “Makara Sankranthi Greetings” to all the pilgrims and Srivari devotees present across the world along with EO and other officials.
