“PRIORITY TO RESEARCH IN TTD EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS-TIRUPATI JEO”

TIRUPATI, DEC 19:  Top priority will be given for research in all the TTD run educational institutions to improve the quality of education with a future perspective, said TTD Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar.

Addressing the national conference on “Recent Trends in Organic Chemistry” organised by SV Arts College in SVETA on Thursday in Tirupati, Tirupati JEO said, today almost every ingredient including cosmetics, drugs, medicines, plastic etc. are made out of chemicals. He said today the world is facing the threat of environmental pollution which could be overcome through extensive research in the area of organic chemistry.

Later he called upon the students to make use of this conference which is organised with the help of UGC and become scientists in future to serve the country.

In his address, TTD Educational Officer Sri P Sesha Reddy said, teachers should encourage the students to take up research in emerging trends in science. He said that the students should not confine themselves to academics and should discover new trends by taking up research studies.

Earlier Retired professor from Bangalore Sri D Bhaskar Reddy released the souvenir. Arts college Principal Dr M D Christopher, UGC Co-Ordinator Dr N Subba Reddy, other faculty members and students were also present.
