PRO PILGRIM INITIATIVES

Tirumala, 4 November 2016: The top priority of the temple management of TTD is to provide the best possible services to its pilgrims by implementing pro-pilgrim initiatives said, Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

After the “Dial your EO” programme taking to media persons at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the Jeo said, Seeghra Darshan complex, Divya Darshan complex, on-line issuance of arjitha Seva tickets are all a part of the pilgrim initiatives.

“Along with the increase in pilgrim figures, the quality of services by TTD have also been improving in every sector and the statistical data is an example of our enhanced performance and it is a never ending activity”, he maintained.

Briefing on the importance of Managudi VIII, Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar said, this year this fete will be observed as an year long activity. “Based on the importance of the festivals and the significance of holy months, this fete will be observed in different phases covering the whole year”, he added. The Jeo also briefed on the elaborate arrangements under way for the upcoming Karthika Brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor.

Special officer of All Projects Sri N Muktheswara Rao said, during Tiruchanoor Brahmotsavams, women devotees play a vital role as it is the mega religious event of Goddess Padmavathi Devi. He also said, some exclusive programmes like Sowbhagyam, inviting women artistes to perform during Brahmotsavams will be a special attraction this year”, he added.
