PROMOTION OF VEDAS IS PRIME MOTT OF TTD

Tirupati, 20 Jun. 16: With a noble aim to promote, propagate and preserve Vedas, TTD has made some amendments to the students who are willing to join the vedic schools run by TTD across the Telugu states under the instructions of TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

A review meeting was held with the officers concerned in his chambers in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Monday. In this meeting the EO said TTD is running veda pathashalas in Keesaragutta, Nalgonda, Chilkuru, I Bheemavaram, Vijayanagaram, Kotappakonda apart from Dharmagiri in Tirumala.

EO reviewed the admission process, conduct of exams, syllabus, strength of students in each vedic school. Later he instructed the officials concerned to release the notification for admissions into these vedic schools again to encourage more number of students to take up vedic studies.

The EO also reviewed on the courses being offered in SV Vedic University and discussed elaborately with VC Prof KE Devanathan.

JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, P Bhaskar, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji and other officers were also present.
